Bradford Alumni Association

About the Bradford Alumni Association

We hope you'll consider supporting the Kenosha Bradford High School Alumni Association (KBHSAA) by becoming a memberPlease visit the Alumni Association's official website for more information on its mission to provide annual scholarships to deserving seniors and recognition of Distinguished Alumni for their achievements.

As part of our milestone 50-Year Class of 1973 Reunion, the Reunion Committee set a goal of raising $1973 for a scholarship to be offered for a Bradford senior through KBHSAA.  We were blown away by our classmates' generosity when our fundraiser reached $5136 in donations for the 1973 Scholarship Fund, and the Silent Auction held in conjunction with our Reunion on September 16, 2023 raised an additional $1000.  We hope you will take pride in seeing the Class of 1973 Scholarship listed on KBHSAA's Current Scholarship Offerings web page in each of the next three years!

The KBHSAA has previously honored five of our classmates as Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA) recipients:

  • Michael Martino in 2001;
  • Peter Barca in 2005;
  • Louis Covelli and Vince Ruffolo in 2019; and
  • Susan Shemanske in 2022.

KBHSAA recently completed its DAA Plaque Restoration project, which included having our classmate, Don Sebetic, photograph the plaques.  Those photos have been posted on the KBHSAA website on the Close-Up:  DAA Honorees web page.  The DAA plaques are on display in the hallway just east of Bradford's Main Entrance.

We'd very much like to see another deserving member of the Class of '73 nominated to receive DAA consideration next year.  The nomination form is available here on the KBHSAA website, and nominations must be postmarked by January 31, 2025.
